David Messer, 1941-2019

David C. Messer, of Lake Wales, born Dec. 12, 1941, in Cuthbert, GA, went to fish with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gale Martin Messer, of 50 years; devoted sons Chuck Messer (Diane) and Daniel Messer (Amber); and sister, Sue Turner. He was blessed with eight grandchildren: Emma, Alexander, Andrew, Matthew, Joshua, Danielle, Arman and Aidana.

Visitation will start at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, at Golfview Baptist Church until the memorial service at 11 a.m. The church is located at 107 Hibiscus Drive in Lake Wales.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the "Kitchen Fund" of Golfview Baptist, which David loved so much.
