Library Lunch 'n Learn

The Lake Wales Public Library's Lifelong Learning series will host Victim Services Specialist, Theresa Adlam at noon Thursday, March 14 as she presents Facts about Identity Theft.

Adlam is a Victim Services Program Specialist with the Division of Victim Services and Criminal Justice Programs in the Florida Office of the Attorney General, specializing in the area of Identity Theft.

Adlam began her career in the field of criminal justice serving as a county probation officer. She found her passion for advocacy in 1997 while working as a victim advocate for the Ninth Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office.

Over the last decade, she has appeared on local television programs, as well as the ABC News show "20/20." She has also enjoyed the opportunity to train and speak throughout the country on the topic of identity theft for the Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), Training and Technical Assistance Center (TTAC) since 2007.

Adlam's one-hour presentation on the timely topic of Identity Theft is a Lunch 'n Learn program. A light lunch will be provided, to all registered attendees.
