Enrollment for Polk State College's Spring Semester will begin on Monday, Oct. 26 with priority registration for students who
have completed at least 50 percent of their program requirements. Open enrollment will
begin on Monday, Nov. 2. Classes start January 6. Students can check the status
of their program requirements and whether they qualify for priority registration
on Passport.
Currently enrolled students may register for classes through their Passport accounts. Dual enrollment students should work with their high school advisors and email [email protected] for additional assistance. Prospective students must submit a free online application to Polk State

Polk State remains in Phase II of its Return to Campus Plan. The College is fully functional with services including advising and financial aid available on campus, and most operations occurring remotely.
For the Spring 2021 Semester, the College plans to offer more hybrid class options that allow for increased in-person learning opportunities. It is important that students read the course descriptions in Passport that explain class formats and expectations before registering for classes. Online courses are available in a variety of formats to fit students' schedules, including classes that have regularly scheduled meetings and others that allow students to complete coursework at their own pace. bottom right corner of the http://www.polk.edu/admission-aid/admissionsteps page for assistance with applying, advising, and registering for classes. Students may email [email protected], call 863.297.1004, or utilize the webchat feature for help with financial aid.
The Lakeland Technology Building (LTB) on the Lakeland Campus and the Winter Haven Administration Building (WAD) on the Winter Haven Campus are open to students to access the services above in person if needed. Students and visitors should note that cloth face coverings are required while on campus and the College encourages everyone to follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines closely. Individuals who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or are caring for someone who is ill should not come to campus.
Throughout the application, registration, and financial aid processes, students are encouraged to monitor their Polk State emails and accounts for important updates. Students should also visit http://www.polk.edu and the College's social media for the latest news and additional resources as they become available.
