Virginia Louise Glover Pitt, 1935-2021

Virginia Louise Glover Pitt of Lake Wales passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at AdventHealth Lake Wales under the care of Vitas Hospice.

She was born February 9, 1935 in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma to the late Melvin and Iva Glover; she moved to Lake Wales from Nashville, Tennessee in June of 1971. Virginia was a teacher and held a bachelor's degree.

Virginia was preceded in death by her sister, Emma Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jackie Willard Pitt; sons, Jack G. Pitt of Toronto, Canada, and Andrew G. Pitt of Lake Wales; sister, Carol Dunnavant of Pulaski, Tennessee; brothers, Lawrence Glover Nashville, Tennessee, Leroy Glover of Tennessee, Frank Glover of Pulaski, Tennessee, and David Glover of Sparta, Tennessee; and granddaughter, Charlotte Pitt.
