Bust Some Clays with Grady Judd

Event Raises Funds for Charities

Have you been practicing your target shooting for "Bustin' Clays with Sheriff Grady Judd?" The 11th annual clay shooting event is just around the corner on March 16, so now is the time to register.

Polk Sheriff's Charities, Inc. is holding the event again at Tenoroc Sporting Clays in Lakeland. Sign-in starts at 7 a.m. and the event begins at 8 a.m.

Last year over 500 people attended Bustin' Clays and over 360 shooters were signed up.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Sponsors can set up tables the day of event and advertise the company's name and values through brochures and other handouts.

Shooter information, which can be completed online, must be turned in no later than March 11 to be available at the registration table the day of the event. If shooter information is not turned in by this date, the team will need to check in under their team or company name at the registration booth the day of the event. There is no registration deadline, but space is limited.

There are multiple packages to choose from and every shooter is provided with breakfast, lunch, a gift bag, raffle ticket, ammo, and a commemorative T-shirt and hat. The cost for an individual shooter is $250, and a team of four is $1,000. The popular Silver package covers two 4-person shooting teams and two 4-person golf carts. The $5,000 and $10,000 packages include VIP recognition and other benefits..

For more information on the event, including packages and to register, visit http://www.bustinclays.org or call (863) 298-4990.

Polk Sheriff's Charities, Inc. will use 100% of all proceeds from this event to further their mission to support activities and charities that benefit the community associated with and identified through the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
