Poets and Writers to Meet April 18

Lake Wales author Palmer Wood will read excerpts from his novel Saigon Cowboy at the April 18 meeting of the Living Out Loud Poets' and Writers' Society.

The society meeting starts at 7 p.m. at Melange Antiques and Art Gallery, 250 E. Park Ave. in Historic downtown Lake Wales. Attendees are asked to bring original written material or a selection from a favorite author to share. Small snacks will be provided, but people are asked to bring their own beverages and anything special they would like to nibble on.

This will be the fifth meeting of the society, which is open to individuals with an interest in poetry or writing.
