The Lake Wales Arts Center is hosting two sessions of 2019 Summer Arts Camp! beginning June 17.
Students ages 7-13 attend two-week camps where they participate in painting, drawing, pottery, music, graphic design, photography, and videography. The Arts Center is located at 1099 SR 60 E in Lake Wales.
Classes meet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The first session is June 17-28, and the second is July 8-19.
This wheel-style day will allow students to participate in ALL disciplines, including visual, performing, and digital arts. There will be a student reception held on the last Friday of each camp from 5-7 p.m. in the Michael Crews Gallery at the Lake Wales Arts Center.
Student drop off is from 9 AM - 9:30 AM and pick up is at 4 PM. Due to allergy concerns, students must provide their own lunch and snacks for the duration of camp. scholarships ARE available and can be submitted by visiting the link provided: Scholarship Application
Camp cost is $175 for Arts Center members and $200 for nonmembers. Discounts are available for multiple student enrollments.
