Last updated 11/6/2019 at 2:19pm

Enrollment is open at Polk State College for the spring 2020 semester that starts January 6.

Currently enrolled students may register for classes through PASSPORT. Prospective students must submit a free online application at http://www.polk.edu/admission-aid.

Information on how to complete online orientation and register for classes is included in email communication after the application process, as well as online at http://www.polk.edu/admission-aid/admissionsteps. Students will also find answers to frequently asked questions about topics including the Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (PERT), paying for college and financial aid, establishing Florida residency, submitting transcripts, and more online.

Students are encouraged to begin the financial aid process as early as possible. The first step is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Assistance completing the FAFSA is available through the Office of Student Financial Services, which holds FAFSA workshops on the Winter Haven and Lakeland campuses, as well as at the Polk State JD Alexander Center in Lake Wales. More information is available by calling 863.297.1004 or emailing financialaid@polk.edu.

Throughout the registration and financial aid process, students should regularly check PASSPORT and their College email accounts for important registration and financial aid information.

More information and assistance will be available at open house Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Lakeland Technology Building on the Lakeland Campus, 3425 Winter Lake Road.

Located in Winter Haven, Florida, and established in 1964, Polk State College is a multi-campus institution serving more than 16,000 students with Bachelor of Applied Science, Bachelor of Science, Associate in Arts, and Associate in Science degrees, as well as a wide range of certificate and workforce training options. The College also operates three charter high schools.
