Loretta Darnell, 1940-2019

Loretta Darnell, 79, of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019 at Life's Journey of Avon in Indiana.

She was born January 15, 1940 in Lake Wales to the late Russell and Katherine (Copper). She was a groundskeeper.

She is preceded in death by her husband William Darnell, son Bud Cartrette and 2 brothers.

She is survived by her daughters Gina Speck of Mooresville, IN, Tammie Trosper of Martinsville, IN, Becky Thomas of Anderson, IN, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales. Johnson-Nelson-Gill Funeral Home in Lake Wales is in charge of local arrangements.
