Due to safety concerns related to COVID-19 the polling location originally planned to be at the Municipal Administration Building will be moved to the James P Austin Community Center located at 315 Dr. M. L. King Jr. Blvd. in Lake Wales. The Lake Ashton polling location remains the same.

This election will choose a Commissioner to Seat 5 (District 28). Candidates are Robin L. Gibson and Bob Wood.

Election officials will make extra effort to clean the equipment throughout the day. Voters can bring their own pen and only a few voters will be allowed in at a time.

For the safety of our citizens, City staff strongly recommends requesting a Vote-By-Mail ballot. Over 700 Lake Wales voters have voted by mail already.
