Ilene Kalem, 1949-2020

She was born September 9, 1949 in Gloversville, NY to the late Philip Kalem and Bertha E. (Lamb) Baker; she moved to Lake Wales from New York 32 years ago. She was a retired CNA at The Grove Center.
Ilene is survived by her daughters, Crystal Ambrosino St. Andrews (Robert) of Gloversville, NY, and Melissa Morse of Gloversville, NY; son, Michael Bruse Jr. of Gloversville, NY; sisters, Mary Caputo of Broadalbin, NY, Charlene Slaver Roosevelt (Ken) of Farmington, ME, Kandie Vining (Michael) of Gloversville, NY, and Pennie Dutcher (Allan) of Gloversville, NY; eight grandchildren, Billie Kenyon, Brandon Young, Michael K. Ambrosino, Clarissa Morse, Tiffany Dillenbeck, Matthew Poyfair, Sarah Ambrosino and Emily Ambrosino. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her father Philip Kalem, and mother Bertha E. (Lamb) Baker. Both of her aunts, Dora Harris and Shirley Marlitt. Her brother in-law Charles Caputo and Nephew Joseph W. Slaver Jr.
