Woman's Club Holds Drive-Thru Spaghetti Dinner Nov. 12

The GFWC Woman's Club of Lake Wales' 35th Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser is set for Nov. 12. "Curb-side" pick-up of boxed dinners will be offered in lieu of a "sit-down" dinner and will take place between 4 and 6 p.m.

There is a pre-paid delivery service included in the price of the ticket if one individual orders 10 meals or more at one location or 10 individuals or more from one location order a meal.

The cost of the dinner will be $10, which will include pasta with meat sauce (a meatless marinara option will be available), salad & Italian dressing, pineapple upside-down cake dessert, garlic bread and a bottled water.

This year does present several challenges with the limited face to face selling of tickets. Each active member will have 10 tickets to sell to family, friends, neighbors. etc. Call 863-949-0217 and leave a message and one of the members will call you back. The clubwill offer a "drive-up and pay- at-the-door" for those who notice our road signs and just pull in, but advance ticket sales are preferred, of course.
