Mary Jewell, 1937-2021

Mary Elizabeth Jewell, 83, of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 at her residence.

She was born August 17, 1937 in Baltimore, MD to the late John and Mary Hubbard; she moved to Lake Wales from Lake Alfred seven years ago. Mary was a retired seamstress and attended First Baptist Church of Lake Alfred.

Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathie Evans in May of 2021. She is survived by her daughter, Jenny Reck of Lake Wales; son, Steven Jewell of Baltimore, MD; brothers, Jimmy Hubbard and wife Nancy of Baltimore, MD, and John Hubbard of Lake Wales; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

No services are scheduled at this time. Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales is handling arrangements.
