"Are We There Yet?" Still Time to Catch the Fun!

Annual Children's Theatre Production Full of Cute Performances

The history of human transportation gets a rousing send-up in the humorous "Are We There Yet" which will be on stage at Lake Wales Little Theater this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Director Alicia Bush and Kara Wiseman, with the assistance of Musical Director Mindy Kessler have combined the clever songs of playwright Stephen Murray to marshall the tremendous force of dozens of young performers into an entertaining show.

Whether you are a parent or grandparent, or just wish you were, the entertaining romp through the twisted accounting of mankind's discovery of new ways to move about offers you an evening full of cute hijinks.

A series of skits, progressing from the discovery of feet and ideas for how to use a wheel eventually leads to the fulfillment of the classic villain Sniveley Whiplash's dream of railroad tracks with which to terrify his victims, and then, of course, the creation of heroes.

A cast of scores of teens keep the action rolling, and even the group's "Theatre Tots" get into the action.
