We offer social, educational, cultural, and therapeutic arts activities for individuals with special needs. We also offer job training and possible job placement within the community as well as respite care and support to caregivers and families.

We help develop men and women through accountability groups, we provide hot lunches to community members twice a month, and we have a youth organization called G-HYPE (Generation Helping Young People Every Day). Lake Wales Heritage is deeply engaged in the replanting of the 1930 Lake Wales streetscapes designed by famous landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. shortly after his completion of the gardens at Bok Tower. Edward Bok funded the original design. Heritage also hosts educational programs for both adults and students to share knowledge of the historic resources.

Trees complete a city. LWH, inc. is a fully dedicated not-for-profit to recreating the historic Lake Wales streetscape plantings designed by legendary landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted in 1930. Our organization seeks local member-donors and available grants to fund an expansive 10-year program of tree planting that will restore the city's original place as "a city in a garden,"
