Arts Center Hosts 1920s Night in New York

The Lake Wales Arts Council is holding a swanky night of fine food and jazz in three acts. A Night in New York is the Lake Wales Arts Council's annual dinner & fundraising event scheduled for 6:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16.

The evening will feature Paul Gavin and an all-star group of musicians, plus the musical stylings of Whitney James and Brian Hughes, two of the most in-demand jazz vocalists in Florida. The band will play all of the classics from the Great American Songbook and provide quite a show for patrons.

The Updike Hall will be transformed into a 1920s New York supper club for the evening. Period-specific attire is encouraged.

Only a few tickets are left for what is expected to be a sell-out for this premier event. Tickets are $150 for individuals and $250 for couples and can be purchased online at https://centralfloridatix.com/events/niny19. Table Sponsorships and reservations can be made by calling the box office at (863) 676-8426.
