Lance Grady Wilson, 48, of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019 at his residence.

He was born September 10, 1971 in Lake Wales. He has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a banker for CenterState Bank for many years and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lake Wales. He received his bachelor’s degree from Warner Southern College. Lance was an avid sports fan, he played football and baseball at Lake Wales High School, he played baseball for Hillsborough Community College and Warner Southern College, he was also an avid golfer, a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan, he coached youth baseball at Winter Haven High School and had many wonderful friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Perry Murray Wilson.

He is survived by his mother Debra Tyus and husband Bing, sisters Tricia Ann Harper of St. Pete, FL, Emily Tyus Stegall of Lake Wales, FL, brother Jeremy Tyus of Kansas City, MO, grandmothers Lois Pike of Lake Wales, Mary Wilson of Lakeland, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held 4 p.m.Thursday, Oct. 10 at the First Presbyterian Church in Lake Wales.
