John "Jack" Daubert, 1933-2021

US Army Veteran

John "Jack" Daubert, age 88, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at his residence after a long illness. He was born October 10, 1933 in Freeland, PA to Clayton & Margaret Daubert. Jack was a veteran in the US Army serving in the Korean War. He was a Courier for the Erie School District in Pennsylvania. Jack had also been a barber and school bus driver for many years. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Bartow. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He was very actively involved in his church and his community, the Good Life RV Resort. He was preceded in death y his parents, two brothers, Joseph Daubert and Jimmy Daubert as well as two sisters Peggy Burke and Florence McCombs. Jack is survived by his wife of 58 years Charlotte B Daubert of Bartow, four sons Albert T Lotz, III of Hanoverton, OH, Donald R Lotz (Elaine) of Copperas Cove, TX, Michael E Lotz of Waterford, PA, James M Daubert of Indian Rocks Beach, FL four daughters Debra Hansard (Kirby) of Indian Rocks Beach, FL, Darlene Eldred (Dwight) of Lantana, FL, Trish A Illig (Russ) of Lake City, PA, Kathy Glance (Dana) of Winter Haven, FL, 22 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday, November 12, 2021 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
