"Ripcord" Offers Evening of Entertainment at Lake Wales Little Theatre

Play Runs three Weekends Beginning January 14

Live theatre offers a great alternative to pre-recorded television shows, and that "anything can happen" excitement makes for some surprising moments. The opportunity to take in live play in Lake Wales is back as Lake Wales Little Theatre presents "Ripcord" beginning this Friday night.

The intimate theatre offers great views from every seat, and tickets may be purchased in advance online.

"Ripcord" offers a different twist on the roommate problems you may remember from your own past. According to the promotional materials, the play is set in a conflict that might arise in your future!

"A sunny room on an upper floor is prime real estate in the Bristol Place Senior Living Facility, so when the cantankerous Abby is forced to share her quarters with new-arrival Marilyn, she has no choice but to get rid of the infuriatingly chipper woman by any means necessary. A seemingly harmless bet between the old women quickly escalates into a dangerous game of one-upmanship that reveals not just the tenacity of these worthy opponents, but also deeper truths that each would rather remain hidden."

Tickets are $20 per person for adults, and available at the Little Theatre website, lwlt.org.
