CES Opens New Location in Longleaf Business Park

Company Caters to Electrical Contractors Sub Offers Retail

As Lake Wales grows it is attracting new businesses that cater to both builders and the public. City Electric Supply, or CES, opened recently in Longleaf Business Park, and held their grand opening and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, drawing a crowd of residents and contractors.

Mike Bertone, CES regional manager for central and southeast Florida, said that the new showroom and warehouse offer a full range of electrical supplies, including everything from panels and conduit to lighting, switches, and outlet fixtures.

"We wanted to bring City Electric Supply a little bit closer to the customers here in the Lake Wales area," Bertone told LakeWalesNews.net. "We're happy to be in these locations, I'm covering 47 locations from Titusville to Key West."

"We have a location in Sebring, and one in Winter Haven, and we had a void here, and we wanted to support the local community."

"We are kind of tucked in off the main road, but we're kind of happy to be tucked in here," Bertone added.

A dozen suppliers of electrical equipment and lighting were present for the event, many offering attractive door prizes to visitors as they demonstrated a variety of innovative lighting and gadgets. "Some of our top vendors, our bigger vendors are represented here today," he said.

Al Fusco, CES Palm Beach County District manager, mentioned that opening in Lake Wales was a simple process, saying that "they were the friendliest people we've ever worked with. Getting our licenses was the most seamless process, they were the greatest. It was such a pleasure." Fusco's district also includes stores in Okeechobee, Sebring, and Lake Wales.

Representatives of the Lake Wales Area Chamber of Commerce and a number of area business leaders joined dozens of electrical contractors at the event to explore the showroom and large warehouse area stocked with thousands of items. A row of vendor tables offered guests an opportunity to register for some of the dozens of prizes given away at the event.
