Luis Hernandez, 1935-2021

Luis Antonio Hernandez, 85, of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021 at Advent Health Lake Wales.

He was born May 11, 1935 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to the late Leoncio and Julia Hernandez; he moved to Florida from Puerto Rico 19 years ago. Luis was a retired Realtor. He attended IDPMI North Lake Wales Church and loved to play dominoes.

Luis is survived by his wife of 57 years, Josefina Cotto; daughters, Ana Rosa Hernandez, Josefina Rosa, and Vickie Rodriguez; and grandson, Jesus Rosa.

A memorial service will be held at IDPMI North Lake Wales Church (20580 US-Highway 27 South, Lake Wales, Florida 33853) with Pastor Rafael Morales officiating (date and time are pending). Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales is handling arrangements.
