Michael Carl Wurth of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at his residence.

He was born October 18, 1953 in Tampa to Carl and Gloria Wurth; he moved to Lake Wales from Tampa in 1961. Mike was a fabricator for Chemical Containers and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Carl Carey Wurth. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Joan Wurth; daughters, Evelyn Rae Messer of Gainesville, and Elizabeth Joan Wurth of Lake Wales; sons, Thomas Michael Wurth of Lake Wales, and John Scott Wurth of Lake Wales; mother, Gloria Wurth; brother, Wesley Wurth (Kim) of Lake Wales; and grandchildren, MaKenna, Cieara, Lucas, Hannah, Sophie, and Gracie.

A private service will be held.
