Warmer weather is raising water temperatures on area lakes just as bass are starting to spawn, so many fish are mobile right now.

fishing on Lake Walk-in-the-water seems to be producing specks at night under lights, using minnows drifting. Bass fishing picked up a little last week with the moon, so try fishing outside edge early with a white and chart spinnerbait.

On Lake Hatchineha, specks are still in open water drifting minnows to the south. Bass are moving in shallows, try throwing a horny toad by zoom in white in the morning. then slowing down throw a black blue blue tip senko to anything isolated. That's is what is generating the bigger bites.

On Lake Kissimmee, speck fisherman are catching decent counts fishing a mixture of pads and grass in three to four feet of water.. Bass fishing is still hit or miss, as a lot of buck bass are roaming the shallows but still having problems finding the females. Use any worm and cast to anything isolated to locate them, then slow down
