Classern Quartet Performs Two Shows Saturday at Lake Wales Arts Center

Music lovers of all ages are invited to enjoy not one, but two concerts this Saturday, May 11 at the Lake Wales Arts Center as Classern Quartet, a distinguished ensemble from Orlando, presents two completely different musical programs at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The Classern Quartet will perform two concerts with different themes this Saturday at the Lake Wales Arts Center, 1099 SR 60 East in Lake Wales.

Arts Council staff invites you to "indulge in an afternoon of refined elegance and musical brilliance for a captivating concert that celebrates the timeless allure of classical strings."

The first event will feature the harmonious sounds of classical music performed by the Classern Quartet. "Immerse yourself in the harmonious sounds," says Arts Council spokesperson Carrie Ingley. "Experience the artistry and virtuosity of this renowned ensemble as they showcase masterpieces from the classical string quartet repertoire."

The second performance, entitled "Swiftie Strings," bridges the classical and contemporary worlds with an enchanting concert featuring the timeless hits of Taylor Swift, transforming Swift's iconic songs into timeless classics.

The Classern Quartet's exceptional talents will transport listeners to a world of musical sophistication.

Doors will open for the first concert at 3 p.m. with complimentary beverages and snacks available. The concert ends at 5 p.m.

Tickets for the first performance are $18.00 for non-members, $14.00 for members, $5.00 for students ages 13-22 and free to children 12 and under.

Doors will open for the second performance at 5:20 p.m., again with complimentary beverages and snacks available. Tickets for that performance are $25.00 for non-members, $20.00 for members, $5.00 for students ages 13-22 and free to children 12 and under.

Both shows take place at the Lake Wales Arts Council, 1099 Highway 60 East in Lake Wales.
