Robert Davis Jr., 1940-2019

Robert Davis, Jr., 79, of Nalcrest passed away Sunday, Dec. 29, 2019 at Consulate Care in Winter Haven.

He was born Nov. 15, 1940 in Rockingham, NC to the late Robert and Charlotte (Anderson) Davis, Sr. He has been a resident of the area since 2016 coming from North Carolina. Robert was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, He was a retired Hoboken, N.J. police officer (late 1960s) and served in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his daughter Rhonda D. Johnson and husband Harry of Radcliff, KY, sons Lasalle Davis of New Jersey, Robert Davis III and wife Ellie of New Jersey, sisters Lauretta Ingraham and husband George of Richmond, VA, Nannie Davis of Rockingham, NC, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

No services are scheduled at this time. Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales is handling arrangements.
