Bluegill Still Hot Targets, Bass Can be Found

On Lake Walk-in-Water, anglers are still catching bluegill on crickets in the pads and grass. Bass are up shallow morning before the heat and wind picks up, and evening if the breeze lies down. Try throwing top-water lures.

On Lake Hatchineha, Chandler point is still a good place to catch a limit of bluegill, both worms and crickets are affective. Bass are schooling on shell early. Work with a chrome and blue rattletrap as well as a Carolina rig.

On Lake Kissimmee, try 27 Palms and the cove for limits of bluegill in 2-3 feet of water using crickets. Bass are migrating to the outside edge of the grass. Flipping and throwing a swim bait are the primary baits of choice. Most of the bigger bags are coming doing this.
