Communication Builds Our Community

Beverly Porter, 1945-2022

Beverly went to Heaven with the children she deeply loved by her side, her son, Glenn; daughter, Tracy; and son-in-law, David White. The feeling was mutual. Her children both believe they had the best mother in the galaxy.

Beverly had a zest for life that she enjoyed to the fullest. Married to George for 53 years who preceded her in death in 2017, his passion for travel took the family around the globe, favorites being Lake Tahoe and Paris. There wasn't a dance she couldn't master... square, round, country and ballroom all brought her joy. She passed along her love of shopping to Tracy, as well as her talents in the kitchen.

Beverly was a storyteller extraordinaire, had poetic skills and knew how to throw a party. She was proud of her career as an Executive Secretary, always ensuring that her bosses and companies shined. She was the life of a party who brought sunshine to everyone with whom she crossed paths.

She 100%+++ supported her children in everything they did, and she will remain forever loved and cherished in their hearts.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to help with the diseases she fought valiantly - Alzheimer's Association visit http://act.alz.org/goto/BeverlyPorter, so one day no family will have to suffer with this insidious affliction; or AdventHealth Lake Wales visit yourgenerosityhealspolk.com, toward the purchase of a 3D Mammography machine so breast cancer can be caught early and beat.
