Lake Reedy Bass Tournament to Benefit Youth Activities

Annual Event Hosted by Frostproof Church of God

Increased numbers of boats and anglers are expected on Lake Reedy in Frostproof this Saturday, March 25, as the Frostproof Church of God hosts their 12th Annual Bass Tournament. The tournament will benefit the church's youth department.

The tournament will run from first safe light until 2:00 pm. Each boat will be allowed a five-fish limit to submit for the weigh-in upon the conclusion of the tournament. No live bait is allowed in this tournament, which requires artificial bait only.

A cash-only $50 entrance fee is required per boat with a maximum of two anglers per boat. Half of that entrance fee will go to payout the winners, while $15 will benefit the church's youth department and $10 will go to cover the expenses of the event. First and second place winners will receive a cash payout.

No pre-registration necessary as all participants can register the morning of from the launch point at the Lake Reedy boat ramp at 1093 North Lake Reedy Blvd., Frostproof, FL, 33843.

Proceeds from the tournament will help fund church participation in a variety of activities including a conference-wide talent show, a yearly youth summer camp trip, and other enriching activities.
